The founders
Co-founder & CEO
Fred founded Reelcruit, bringing digital strategy, technology and business development to recruiting. That experience put him close to a persistent problem: decisions about people often begin with an incomplete picture of the work. At OWI, he connects the product to the decisions leaders and consulting firms need to make.
Co-founder & CTO
Pierre-Emmanuel built cloud infrastructure for machine learning at National Bank and delivered production AI applications. A co-founder of Impulse MTL, he co-authored digital-twin research at Polytechnique Montréal, accepted at EDTconf 2025. At OWI, he brings that engineering experience to turning organizational knowledge into a product leaders can use.

Daryl brings 25 years in financial services, where trust, fiduciary discipline and accountability shape every decision. At OWI, he advises on responsible AI adoption: helping organizations consider governance and human judgment alongside technology. His commitment extends to AI financial literacy for Canadian youth and university students, making complex information easier to understand and act on.

A partner at Osler in Montréal, she works on venture capital financing, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial agreements. Harold brings a finance leader’s perspective to the challenges of building a company. A former finance vice-president at Québecor, he now works with startups through SolnEx as a fractional CFO, helping them prepare for their next financing round. His background spans established organizations and emerging businesses.
Why we built OWI
Hiring, redesign and AI investment all depend on understanding how an organization operates. The people closest to the work hold much of that knowledge. We built OWI to bring it into the room where decisions happen.
Our ambition is practical: make the organization easier to understand, so leaders can improve the work and give human capability room to grow.
Work and recognition
Pierre-Emmanuel co-authored a study of a working fermentation digital twin. The paper reports 91% less manual sampling time for that project, with real-time monitoring and safety-bounded control. This is prior engineering work, not an OWI customer result.
